Dear governor,
I am writing with regard to an article that appeared in the newspaper recently. The article shows how African-Americans are treated in our society nowadays. Because people around them ignored them or blame them for things they had not done. This article claimed that African-Americans are thieves. I strongly disagree with this point of view.
First of all, in modern times everyone should be treated the same way. There should not be discrimination because of a persons skin color or a persons nationality. Till I've read this article a believed I felt like an American, but now I have second thought about the politics of our state.
Secondly, I want to advise you that there has to be an amendment very soon. Also politics should emanate that they are open for everything. There would not be a future for our nation if there is no change. African-Americans are very important for our nation and economy, so why should they be treated in another way?
Finally, I want to affirm once again how important it is that everyone is accepted in this day and age.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Ines Peter
